The Water Margin ( 水浒传) (also known as Outlaws of the Marsh, All Men Are Brothers, Men of the Marshes, or The Marshes of Mount Liang) is one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature. Attributed to Shi Nai An, the novel details the trials and tribulations of 108 outlaws during the Song Dynasty period of Chinese history.
This is in my eyes the MOST MANLIEST story I ever seen.
It is the Western equivalent of Robin Hood and his merry men.
The sad part is how the once proud Song Dynasty is being subverted by crooked politicians to further their own selfish means. ie, Legally funneling state monies to their own pockets, getting money from shady two-bit character in order to ignore unsavoury activities and intentionally suppressing honest opinion & people.

Gao Chiu's bastard ilk, Gao Ya Nei actually boasted he being related to Gao Chiu, CAN get away to crimes like robbing, stealing and basically everything that is defined as crime in the book of common law.
