Ludi-Arma-Phobia

I made this word up: "Ludi-Arma-phobia"
( in approximate Latin= Fear of Toy Weapon)

It is a "mental disturbance characterized by irrational aversion to toy weapons".

The most common manifestation of "Ludi-Arma-phobia" is the idea

that toy weapon possess a will of their own, apart from that of their user.

True medical phobias of toy weapons can exist, but are unusual.
From bad experiences and so on. To be fair.

This types of people are in a way outrageous fear-mongerers,

and as being irrationally fearful. ie, Mis / Ill informed people.

I have been getting feedback like:

1.) it is immoral to expose minor to violence.

2.) it is simply wrong to handle guns be it , toys or not.

3.) I will get a heart attack when I see people with weapons!  ( I am serious, I was exposed that quote.)

First of all, to clear the mis-conception:

This is a hobby like Tamiya , Hasegawa or Monogram modeling.

These model makers have been making models of military hardware since 1980s or earlier.

We are just doing similar things except it is modeling with replica non firing weapons.

Repeat again; it is a hobby. There isn't a need to be serious. Of course, responsible handling is called for. This will be touched on later.

Someone asked me once if I knew the difference between a civilian and a citizen.
A citizen has the courage to make safety and responsibility of the society their personal aim.

A civilian knows nothing and is let around by the nose blindly. The bottom line, weapons; be it real or not, has to be handled with responsibly and account-ably.

Since we all recite the Pledge- "We the Citizens of......"
Unless one is a parrot, read my definition on what is a Citizen.
